How the free tier works

Saturday and Sunday lessons are free, forever — no account and no card. Monday to Friday are for Nothing Advice Plus members.

What Plus includes

All seven days a week plus the full archive, so you can catch up on any day you missed. It's $1.99 per month or $9.99 per year, and the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial.

Managing or cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they're managed in iOS, not in the app: open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. You can cancel there at any time. If you're on the free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged.

I paid but the app still says Free

Open the Plus screen and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it still doesn't unlock, email us and we'll sort it out.

I'm not getting my daily reminder

Check that notifications are allowed: Settings → Advice About Nothing → Notifications. You can pick the delivery time in the app under Settings → Reminder time.

Why is everyone getting the same lesson?

That's on purpose. The lesson is tied to the calendar date, so you and your friends are always on the same one — 1 January is lesson 1, and so on through 365.

Suggesting a lesson

Tap Settings → Suggest a lesson. It opens an email you can edit before sending. We read all of them.
